                          Forgiveness Prayer

If I have harmed anyone, in any way, either knowingly or unknowingly through my own confusions, I ask forgiveness.

If anyone has harmed me, in any way, either knowingly or unknowingly through their own confusions, I forgive them.

And if there is a situation I am not yet ready to forgive, I forgive myself for that

For all the ways that I harm myself,
negate, doubt, belittle myself, judge or be unkind to myself through my own confusions,
I forgive myself.

Monthly Practice:

bulletUse the month of August to do conscious forgiveness work. Notice in what areas of your life there is forgiveness work to do with self. What is the forgiveness work where I have harmed others, and what actions of rectification and reparation can I take at this time? Where do I need to forgive others who have harmed me, and where is my readiness in forgiving those who have harmed me and what actions can I take to let them know that I have forgiven them?

bullet What are the obstacles or reasons that keep me from doing forgiveness work? What are the actions that I can take that would assist my own health and well being surrounding forgiveness in my life at this time?

bullet An excellent resource that you might read would be Fred Luskin’s book, “Forgive for Good”.
