JANUARY 2000
A Practice for the New Year
There are four concerns that have to do with the
theme of soul-making and new beginnings. They are love (which speaks to
our desire for union); death (which raises questions about our destiny and
letting go); power (which challenges us with issues of vulnerability); and time
(which forces us to see our lives in terms of a play, a drama, or a story).
We come across all four
in our journey and unfoldment process.
Two invaluable resources to further these practices are:
Soul Making: The Desert Way of
Spirituality by Alan Jones
Letters from the Country by Carol Bly
May the new millennium bring you abundant blessings and opportunities for
soul-making.
