Reflection for November 2002

It is only when we believe that we are creating the soul that life has any meaning, but when we can believe it--and I do and always have--then there is nothing we do that is without meaning and nothing that we suffer that does not hold the seed of creation in it."

Monthly Practice:

bulletWhen we experience our life as meaningful, the practices or expressions of generosity and gratitude are increased and extended to others. During this "Thanksgiving month", give gratitude everyday, and extend at least three acts of generosity towards others.
bulletEach morning take a moment to pay attention to your breath, and to give thanks for life (regardless of how your life feels at the moment).
bulletSpend at least 15 minutes a day in silence and deep listening. Take time to rebalance, rest, and come back to your center or ground of being--that grace filled sanctuary of quiet, stillness and peace that constantly awaits us and embraces all we are experiencing.
bulletWhat has meaning and significance in your life at this time? Where there is meaning there is "holy ground". Honor and respect these places in your life in a special way this month.
